Chelsea offer two strikers mouthwatering bid to fortify club attack in January

The expectations was up until recently, that Chelsea were going to be a bit quieter in this coming January transfer window, but things might be about to change a bit.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino has publicly called for more new transfers next month as he wants to add more quality and physicality to his squad.

As per our own in-house journalist Simon Phillips writing on his Substack site today, the priority for January remains a new striker first and foremost, but also a new centre back could arrive.

As well as that, Phillips says that Chelsea are also eyeing up two potential new winger names for a move in January.

Phillips says: “I can confirm the reports of Antonio Nusa being a solid Chelsea target, with sources updating me on that yesterday.

“The 18-year-old Club Brugge winger has been heavily scouted on a consistent basis by Chelsea scouts in the last two seasons and he is a player who has been highly recommended collectively by all scouts who watched him. Chelsea are very keen to push to sign him, and that could happen in January, but will be depending on other deals/situations. He’s always been seen as one who will move in the summer rather than in the winter.

“The other winger sources have confirmed that Chelsea do have a keen interest in is Roony Bardghji of FC Copenhagen.”

It’s unclear due to their age whether they would be considered first team additions right away or whether they will be players for the future and potentially head on loan, if Chelsea even do manage to sign either of them.
