Liverpool and Chelsea in battle to sign 22-year-old attacker, valued at £100m by his club

The transfer market rumors suggest that Liverpool and Chelsea are actively pursuing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the talented winger from Napoli, ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.

Napoli values Kvaratskhelia at over £100 million, indicating his significant market value. If Napoli decides to sell the Georgian winger, they stand to make a substantial profit, possibly alongside Victor Osimhen.

Kvaratskhelia has emerged as one of the most intriguing talents in European football in recent years, attracting attention from several top clubs. Italian journalist Ciro Venerato, as reported by Area Napoli, indicates that Kvaratskhelia's contract renewal negotiations with Napoli are currently uncertain. While the player seeks a salary increase, Napoli's president, De Laurentiis, is reportedly offering a substantial salary to persuade him to postpone any potential transfer until 2025. Additionally, there's a possibility of inserting a release clause in his contract, similar to what was done with Victor Osimhen.

Several elite clubs, including Barcelona, Chelsea, Liverpool, and PSG, are closely monitoring Kvaratskhelia's situation. This interest suggests that if the Georgian winger decides to leave Serie A, there will be fierce competition among these clubs to secure his signature in the upcoming transfer window.

The 23-year-old winger, who showcased remarkable talent by scoring 12 goals in Serie A last season and has already netted nine goals this season, has attracted the attention of top clubs across Europe. Real Madrid and Barcelona from La Liga, as well as Chelsea and Liverpool from the Premier League, are reportedly closely monitoring his progress.

Liverpool faced a tense situation during the last summer transfer window amid ongoing speculation linking Mohamed Salah to a move to Al-Ittihad. Despite a tempting offer of £150 million, the Reds rejected the deal. However, they now acknowledge the possibility that they may struggle to resist the allure of the Egyptian winger this summer.

While the 22-year-old winger typically operates on the left side, which is Salah's position, Liverpool must exert every effort to secure the talented player if the opportunity arises in the transfer window. After consistently showcasing his skills in Serie A, the player seems destined for a move to either La Liga or the Premier League, signaling a potential shift in his career trajectory.
